Unpacking A Handbag

I opened my bag and took out some keys ,

a pencil and pen and  a stick of  lipeze .

A torch , some loose coins and a safety pin ,

some tissues and  sweets inside of a tin .

A hairbrush , a penknife , some spray perfume ,

chewing gum ,  tablets and a silver spoon .

Some tweezers , nail clippers , and cotton tips,

eye shadow , nail polish , a few hair clips ,

a note pad , a bangle , some vaseline ,

roll on deodorant , a tube  of hand cream 

chewing gum and a magnifying glass  ,

elastic bands around some photographs , 

a compact mirror ,

powder for the skin

and the inhaler with some  ventolin .

I never thought that I had so much stuff

sitting on top of the dust  and the fluff .
