I made my way through the airport ,
to find all of the terminals were closed.

I was approached by a man with a swab

and he stuck one end up my nose.

Another was pushed down my throat

and then I was quickly taken away .

Into a city hotel

where I was zoned for two weeks into a room.

With security guards and dogs at the door

morning, night and afternoon .

I’m a traveller being zoned to isolation

and held against my will .

I have to pay for everyday that I’m here and

I’m not the one who’s ill .

Zoned in , tuned out and I’m left  
locked up in here talking to the walls each day .

I’m just waiting  for the all clear so I can finally

get on my way
