The World We Inherit

This is the world we inherit

Full of oppression and despair

You adults and your handouts

You adults and your politics

I don't want to inherit this world.

This 21st Century America

We try to "fix" all the other countries

And "feed the children"

... We have our own starving children.

Tossing money at China-

Everything we own is made there-

... We're knee-deep in debt.

Money runs our world

Judging who someone is based on how much cash they have to throw in the faces of the "poor"

Disgusting.

This is the world we inherit.
