ah, one of the great philosophical questions of past ages. I guess the suond is part of the silence.

or the silence part of the sound...i guess you'd have to be there

Just because there are no ears around it doesn't mean there is no sound. Ears did not evolve just for fun, how else could we know when it's time to run. As for voices breaking the silence of the grave, you need to look inside your head or go see a psychiatrist and think hard about the words he said.
