Two Thousand and Tweleve

Two thousand and twelve,
It’s been the best of my years
There’s been laughter and there have been tears
But above all that it’s been a bloody great year
My baby was born with such pride and joy
We always said we wanted a boy!
It’s the year I got married
Had all I hoped and dreamed
Even the honeymoon
Wasn’t as bad as it seemed
The weather was mysterious
But our love became first
We could make the sun burst
We got to watch the Olympics
Cheering for Britain’s team
So many lives became reality
Then just a dream
I’m so glad London has strived for this year
Everyone’s worked so hard just for a cheer
But it’s the memory which makes this place so great
I will always remember the worries and debate
It took for everything to become a plan
Thank god for Boris and superman!
