Pain whispers to me
It leaves me hanging, halfway
I wish I was dead
Moments are entombed
Death, every moment closer
Nights- so much longer
Professions of love
Now without any meaning
They were alive- once
Everything is bare
Where the flowers used to bloom
Is nothing; a void
Someday when I'm old
I will look upon these days
And smile at these words

Congrats on your first cherry, Natalia! Must feel nice; a real virtual pat on the back. I really liked this one. The flow was fantastic. :)

Very nice, Natalie. A poem of overcoming, as doing a pushup---tough at first, with perseverance--- perfection. Ah, the joy of stepping outside yourself. Keep writing, Richard LP
