Inner peace

Found myself completely alone
on the portion of a train
that was being separated off.
I was dreaming of being lost
in the mountains with the silence.
A man came and told me I would
have to get off with him
once the trains had separated
and the driver's door unlocked.
Now, sitting in a carriage
crowded with people all
in some way preoccupied,
that moment seems like a dream.
But I remember that
inner peace is knowing
that we are born
simply to exist and die
and that there is
nothing wrong with that.
When all the generations
have lived
something wonderful
will have happened
