Undercurrents

Water
~ washes away the touches,
touches that cause trembles,
trembles felt unfathomably,
unfathomably close to experience.
~ leaves a hungry thirst,
thirst for fingers disturbing cool,
cool undercurrents caressing,
caressing smooth, glazed boulders.
~ transports cargoes of needs,
needs floating on imperfections,
imperfections in the ripples,
ripples that swell with the thought.

Yes, a beautifully crafted poem.
Yes, a beautifully crafted poem: fluid, elegant, subtle. I enjoyed reading the words aloud. I like the tildes too, most appropriate - waves!

Hello Pat G,
Hello Pat G,
I liked your poem very much. The words seemed to come in waves just like the tide or so it seems to me.
