Being the God for a day

The Almighty has His failures

lenient is He to his creatures.

Human eyes and feelings He does not possess

hence the perception of man perhaps He cannot assess.

Cruel, impure, corrupt, ostentatious sinner

goes scot free because of the creator’s soft corner.

Perhaps He cannot visualize what man feels, does, speaks and sees

hence the pious people, the injustices, the sorrows and the miseries squeeze.

To give a solution I decided to seek from the God His power for a day

and not to interfere in my thoughts and deeds He must stay away.

With power of being omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient

I can discriminate, justifiably sub delegate and make perfect judgment.

To begin with I shall promulgate laws as to the varying intensity of punishment

according to the severity of the sins the penalty will be spelled out in the judgment.

Because of the power vested on me and also sub delegated to capable volunteers

none can ditch us with false witnesses, pretensions or pressure from any sphere.

All the sinners, liars, robbers irrespective of country, caste, creed, color and chair

will have to be caught, trialled and punished under the rule in open public fair.

Starvation, malnutrition and ill health are to be eradicated on a permanent way

the danger to mineral wealth, environment and the ecology will be kept at bay.

The earth will be made eternally free from greed, lust and other demoniac traits

iron rules and punishment will be proclaimed which on return the God will never replace.

Power of God’s mercy for wrong doers will be permanently taken away.

Policies will be framed to enable peace, justice and truth without threat to stay.

Bestowing my divine power on the best of the mortal brains

I shall engage them to invent a talisman for perpetual human gains,

such as catching the real sinners and measuring their intensity of sin for the punishment

and to show the righteous path to the people to live with happiness and health at every moment.

But Alas! To tell you the truth, being not sure of this talisman, I will be unable solve the earthly problems being the God for a day

instead surrendering Him, thanking Him for His herculean task for good of His creation only I can pray.
