The world Communication day

is being observed with many promises today

to bridge the gap of technological differences

parting the knowhow and patents of myriad variances.

But the communication of hungry, homeless and cloth less million

is shadowed by the Hi-Fi mobiles with wireless and internet connection.

“Listen to the screams of my hunger, thirst, feelings in rain and cold winter

can you part from your closet and dining table unused and left over

through a faster and reliable communication

before they become stale and worn to reach the needy trillion.

Your advanced communication techniques and tools we are not aware

our children have not seen a school being engaged to earn their needs bare.”

That is what the starving, cloth less illiterate masses say.

Why do not we promise today?

to innovate, improve and use the communication

so that none dies out of curable diseases and starvation,

relief from any corner of the world reaches the place

much before the calamity the people there face?.

Why an appeal cannot come in every ringing tone

for the place and the people in misery for user’s contribution.

Why do not we cut short the extravagant entertainment from the communication net?

Instead channelize the effort and resources so that benefit of it billions of needy get.

It is not true that the world has marched ahead as indicated by the miracle in communication,

instead it has lengthened the gap between haves and have-nots with frustrating aspiration.
