Dissuade We Must
P K Routray
Super market
growing at very fast rate
traps the man, a slave to sensual pleasure
for the materialistic happiness, increasing his hunger.
Wearing the costumes of costly fashion,
staying at luxury in a tall palatial mansion,
moving in the blue sky on a plane of his own
to man today, are the happiness as is known.
But to their dismay
forget and ignore they,
short lived are such materialistic pleasures
vanish they soon with pain, pangs and tortures
similar to happiness searched in gambling den
where all attempts to get happiness are in vain
Search happiness within yourself with service to Him and His creation
with austerity to live with bare necessity shunning the materialistic attraction.
Dissuade we must such tempting creation and ad luring men’s senses to rocket.
Swept by them men die frustrated searching their happiness which they never get.
