To men after retirement

the society seems to be benevolent

declaring them as citizens senior

with no work and plenty of leisure

but with no challenge, them to motivate

a life they faced from childhood till date

gets drained out of interest to a life to live in

counting days how soon it goes to the coffin.

Till then cells remain active in their brain

though the physical strength is on wane.

Not many days ago this man was in supreme command

an entire organization used to run as he planned.

It looks funny, needs human scientist to search for a   solution

If they can generate a purpose of life left for them to live on.

Philosophy on soul after death under many a religion

gives a scope to make their life full of activities and fun.

The philosophy there if we scan

the knowledge gathered over a life span

is carried forward to the next birth with the soul

enriching the subsequent life with the soul in a new role

to flourish in the next birth and then to rip the harvest

Hence to gather knowledge the older generation will find interest

life will be lively with urge to gain knowledge to accumulate

older generation will have challenge them to rejuvenate.
