Hey My BSL Bach Mates!
In 1971 May
on its last day
bunched we together
right from Alma-mater
energetic at the twenties
never dreamt “woes of old age will ever rise”
joined at BSP, DSP RSP
and instantly built a friendship
strengthened it further
to BSL, on our transfer
to commission and operate her/
We together did the wonder
operating at front
enduring the blunt
of process and machines’ malfunction
to successfully commission
Staying on share
taking each other’s care
forty nine years ago
with early twenty ego
young world beaters, were we
time is very cruel to flee.
with limping limbs fading memory
our golden days concealed in history
But our continual bondage scores over it
we meet still revive the then young spirit
with friends sharing our haydays
in synch where all memories blaze.
We cannot but pnly grieve at our lapses
but pardon ourselves with earthly excuses
as aloof we remained to shape the family destiny
little time to spare to the friendship and company
Now we are old tattered and battered
over countless battles of life awkward.
Friends Jha Saxena Rajesh Pratik
and many jewels have fallen so quick
We had hardly time to mourn for them at heart
now we feel for them when it is time for us to depart.
Pray we Lord to rst them in peace
“ You all are alive at our heart till our sighs cease.”.
On this auspicious day today
let us go back to our heyday
revive the spirit of the then thirty fists May
together till death stay bonded the same way.
and let us forget the age and on joy the blur.
to prove“ We are naughtier than our grandkids when together.”
