Love to Coexist.
P K Routray
In thick forest
trees, minute to mammoth,
new born to decayed and old
amidst cobwebs of twisted bushes,
twining creepers
competing to touch the sun and sky,
some parasitic, some symbiotic
with flowers of
sweet and foul fragrance,
with fruits nectarous or poisonous
testing bitter, sour or sweet
denying some the life energy
from the sun and the air,
water from the rain and earth
germinate, grow and exist together.
In the forest, on the land
in water of ocean,
living creatures,
micro organism toblue whales,
ants to elephants,
deer to tigers,
preys to predators
timid to ferocious
stay and love to stay together.
Like plants and animals.
man irrespective of nature,
characters and traits
caste, colour and creed
education and profession
dull, clever and wise,
dynamic and lethargic,
oppressor and oppressed
stay and love to stay together.
All love to coexist.
