Hey dear friends, bonded since those golden days!

I congratulate you all for your teenager’ craze

visiting a place that frightened. in me the child

as the she- ghouls from demon clan there reside

crushing their teeth with rage

since Ravan and Ram’s age

for the loss of their male demons in million

by men and monkeys from Indian union.

My best wishes to you all to avoid their strategy to stun

to return safely to continue our after-seventy Rengcolian fun.

Your wing=ding there perhaps propelled them to peep in us

even being your friends, well-wishers still of you we are envious

visualizing the scenes that in a group, classmates grown together

once being one another’s mentor and own master

that to with spouses, christened as Rengcolians character

like their parental property losing track of their Alma-mater.

also the scenes as per your postings stretching our imagination

aroused in us the lady ghouls of Sri Lanka as lust for the deer golden.

Come back redeeming your health, reducing weight and age

with laughter and jubilation and rousing monkeys in you to rampage

Though you repeated the feat of Hanuman you flew over seven seas

but don't aspire to repeat his deeds. I appeal with bent knees

Never emulate our revered Hanuman of our great epic

as the difference is he was celibacy but in you still desires flick.

He had a son from his sweat through a fish in the sea

similar claims like hanuman against you we pray not to see.

It is not known, Where the claimants will file the complain

as to whether it will be in India’s, Sri lanka’s or grandkids’ domain.

Let our jealousy turn on you as blessings of infinite dimension.

to bless you and your spouse in abundance fun frolic and jubilation.

Your trip reminds us also of the days in Ramayan,

Ashoka and his works there on Boudh religion,

Cricket, cricketers and Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination,

our fishermen’s fishing net touching the Ceylonese ocean,

their arrests and subsequent political commotion,

Our neighboring friend and enemy China’s ill intention

in the name of grant to Srilsanka, military occupation.

Can you study the real Ceylonese’ opinion

on China, the Ramayan and Indian citizen

Its history, geography, culture and literature must have only Indian paints

and its forefathers may be banished, self-exiled being sinners or saints..

Interesting is our relationship over the years.

Now hope the land has not been put by Chinese in tears.

The golden Lanka was burnt to ashes by a monkey from our land

but uplifted the inhabitants by an Indian king preaching Budh's command

you must be visiting the famous Ashoka forest

where our mother sita was kept under arrest

please touch the spot where mother Sita, Hanuman located

and the places Hanuman traveled at nights scenes perversely depicted.

your photo show, temples in the dilapidated condition

whether are protected the places eulogized in our religion?

Many such childish questions peep in my idle mind

come Kaikai, Kumbhakarna and Bivisan as brothers

difficult to discriminate many vile and pious characters

clarity, logic, satisfactory conclusion I cannot find

Hence I bored to limit you my dear friends.

(My classmates in engineering of 1970 batch (Aged around seventy) from REC Rourkela have gone to Sri Lanka on a pleasure trip with their spouses. This poem is meant for them in the lighter vein.
