Hall and Heroult never thought
ever would work their pot
with a fragile power system.
far from the hub of its operating wisdom
requiring stern discipline in practice,
a deviation would result in a catastrophic crisis,
with operating personnel fresh and raw
environment too democratic with lenient law.
At the start the pots malfunctioned.
Disturbed were the lenders of the fund
NALCO management was panicked a lot
in their R and D department Rabi, they could spot.
Instantly sacrificing his joining intention
when he left his previous organization
to enjoy peace of R and D at a city base
where pollution discomfort he would not face.
At the call of the company he jumped into the fray
for the sake of the work keeping his family need at bay.
With gloves in hand, shoulder tp shoulder with operators
rejuvenated he the morale and the success to Nalco’s exchequers.
“Rabi! You were at the pivot role to prove the world over
A backward region and system to them were proved as a misnomer.”
We, Nalconians who watched it at a close proximity
with loud applause to Rabi will encrypt it in NALCO’s history.
Of Rabi proud were all Rengcolians and his Alma- Mater
beatified Odisha with rush to the state, global players
