Perverted Wisdom
Born and brought up
in a remote rural setup
in a village curdled by rivers
inhabited by mostly farmers
other professionals were a few
balancing the life they all together grew.
Later exposed to the world, modern
where professions, caste, and creed do not govern
observe I through my little wisdom.
“Wonderful was then the caste system
distributing jobs with moral and social responsibility
simultaneously giving expertise and exercising authority.
The sensitive element of Lord-assigned responsibility
they as ancestral practice have to discharge with sincerity
Higher or lower in the cast system was never an issue
as each profession was a divine blessing in their view.
Professions supposing the society to thrive on
as supply of milk, jobs on land, wood, cloth, and iron
are taken up as family business over generations
expertise and experiences are passed from fathers to sons.
They are classed such as blacksmiths carpenters and weavers
observed this, I, in my village worked wonders.
Vocations like blacksmith or milkman
is taken up by a man as per his clan
learning the trick of the trade from the father
adding his ingenuity to improve it further.
Caste-based profession
with conflicts and cooperation
associated scenes and persons
acts in synchronism and prevailing traditions.
are absorbed in my wisdom
that yelles positive aspects of the caste system.
Of course the intricacies such as the population explosion
The aspiration of advancing man was not taken into consideration.
Debate is open on this topic
as it dents at a balance of ecology, basic.
In my village, I came across
instead of criticism claiming my kiddos.
But now village turns to towns and thrive into cities
destroying the ecology and creation, that one sees.
All those have stamped on me
over my life those often ponder I.
