United we stand, divided we fall,

The age old quote, the wise men have given the clarion call.

Union is strength, division weakness,

unite Oh countrymen, let prevail good sense.

Corruption octopus has now spread its tentacles,

it is out to gulp the country without any obstacles.

The lone voice of Anna is but very feeble,

the poor old man is unable to match in dribble

with the forward players of the parties political,

who are trying to malign and finish him with weapons lethal.

Anna team players are only amateurs,

they are getting trapped in the net of the crafty matures

who knowingly concede today, tomorrow to deviate,

stealthily planning the Anna movement to obviate,

to obfuscate Jan Lokpal, to make it a cobra without fang,

so that the perpetrators of plunder, loot and fraud move freely along.

The only remedy, as the proverb goes, is the people to unite,

Frustrate the evil designs of the unscrupulous giving a sincere fight.
