A sight, joyous

In gay abandon

on their jubilee golden

We, REC 70 batch mates met

with plans and programmers, preset

together to celebrate the occasion

after five-decade separation

leaving the institute in nineteen seventy

on twenty-fifth January twenty-twenty

to pay their gratitude to our Alma- mater

as in her lap, we dreamt of our future

shaped she, us to live with honor

never adopting a path that would have hurtled her

and pay their reverences to our professors

who made us wise holding our fingers

and contribute to enriching the institute's campus

that will teach the students on behalf of us.

to teach the students the love for the environment

awakening their divine traits lying in them dormant.

( REC 70 is the institute where I graduated in engineering staying for five years with two hundred fifty students. We passed in 1970, and we celebrated our Golden Jubilee in 2020 by planting this banyan tree. After four years it has grown quite well.
