The words in the title may have many meanings as per dictionary.
But I want to mean each as under for delineation in this poetry.
Value stands to mean a man’s inner human quality,
But valuable is external and ornament to increase physical beauty.
Valuables can be purchased from market by wealth,
But values have to be cultivated with purity, meditation, devotion and nurture of mental health.
Valuable does not require virtue as its companion,
It draws greed in desire and lust in passion.
Values cannot exist without virtuous facts,
Compassion, truth and purity serve as its associates.
A glass mirror can speak the glories of valuables,
Only to increase the greed more and more, bringing trouble after troubles.
On the other hand one’s virtues glorify one’s values as prelude
He becomes dear to all and to him peace and tranquility cannot elude.
Valuables are inanimate and never belong to one,
Values are assets permanent never get stolen.
Values shine with sparkle of heavenly divinity,
But for valuables a man loses his serenity.
For valuables we fight tooth and nail even with our own kith and kin,
And for their sake, Love, brotherhood are forgotten and lost in din.
A child is born without any valuables,
Rather in all his activities you find the glory of only values.
For our children generally we present many valuables to them
Instead let us put our best to teach and nourish the values in them.
It is a fact that our love yields valuables for them,
But make your love divine with values, so that in future none can blame.
With valuables they grow with greed for material pleasure,
For them human values and virtues lose their lustre.
This has impact on the moral fabric of the society,
For the wretchedness of needy and poor because of inequality, we must take pity.
