Who Is Rich?

We define a man as a rich person

if he has plenty of material wealth in his possession.

To add on to his wealth he is always on the run,

further to safeguard his wealth he is besieged with worries and tension.

He hardly has time to look after his physique,

worries and anxieties make him mentally sick.

Peace and happiness elude him

as to multiply his wealth it remains his only dream.

A person is known as a poor

his basic need if his earnings can hardly bear

He does not have material wealth to guard

as on daily sweat he earns his daily bread.

With physical labor his health remains sound

and with limited need and no desire, contented he is generally found.

His aspiration and need do not spiral up like the rich

and him the poverty of health and happiness do not itch.

The goal of life for each man is happiness and sound health

hence the poor is richer than the rich here with material wealth.

Thus a conclusion is drawn that the real rich is the poor,

ill- health, sleepless nights, worries and tension the rich has to bear.
