Dear Jesse

Oh Jesse, me old pal,
I do miss you so.
And although I should
Retire,I wanted too
Write to you instead.
Well what can I say,
Apart from I'm writing
With heavy dry tears,just
Like a car with its
Windscreen smothered in
Hale and fog,
so I can hardly see.
Oh yes,what a sad
And terribly day.And I
Never got to say goodbye,
Which hurt,and brought
Back many painful memories
For me,so I'm not the best
Right now.
But what was nice
Under the circumstances,
Was I met Margaret and
Christine,two pleasant
Ladies who made me feel
At ease,and reminded
Me of us mate,traveling
All over the country
Together,having fun
Just like us.
Do you remember how
We could just happily
Laugh away at anything
Really,you driving and
Me providing the excellent
Entertainment,which you
Called(a racket),but should
Of been singing,yes I bet
Your laughing about
it now, like me.
But then,cruely and without
Warning,taken away and
Live with the Angels now.
So make John welcome
When you see him,and say
Hello from me,has he was truly
Wonderful to know, just like you.
Well I better try and
Sleep now my friend,
so until next time,
My laughing partner
In crime,sweet dreams.
