Bus Pass and Jeep Have a Wonderful Time

Jeep did themselves proud in 'Søstrene Grene', packing 'free rug' like a giant chorizo, with plenty of safe space left to cram with candles and other swag.  Jeep felt invigorated, and very proud of just how many candles fit.  Pass-remarkable Aberdonians at the check-out commented, admiring the wrap and roll that was jeep's destiny being fulfilled at the self-service wrapping station.  Jeep had found their happy place, and took photographs as mementos.

Afterwards, Bus Pass and jeep went into Waterstones.  They knew they shouldn't, but jeep still had space and Waterstones is awfully tempting.  After purchasing a book of the month, they scored a free cappuccino, and reckoned that, on balance, they were quids in.

Walking along to the Art Gallery, jeep was touched and delighted that a parade was put on to welcome them back to Aberdeen.

"Gosh Bus Pass, how did they even know we were here?"

Bus Pass sighed, frankly still a bit put out at jeep's shenanigans taking photographs in shops.  Nevertheless, the Armed Forces Day pipe band was thrilling, and the handsome soldiers in their Gordon Highlander kilts were a sight for sore eyes.  As were the veterans, God love hem, emotion and dignity on their faces.  Jeep pondered what they had been through, and stopped taking photographs, to show respect.

After the parade, jeep and Bus pass felt exhilarated and decided to take a stroll through the new pedestrian gardens in the centre of Aberdeen.

"Smashing!", exclaimed jeep, noticing the two-wheel-drive-friendly terraced walkway.  As jeep and Bus Pass rolled down the winding garden terraces, jeep started dah-dah-dah-dah-da-dahing the sexy tune from James Bond films.

"Look Bus Pass", said jeep,"the name's Bond, Jeep Bond, 007, speeding down the Monte Carlo corniches".

Jeep hummed the jingle for Pearl & Dean.

Bus Pass sighed, again.
