Gene starred as Lex Luthor three times.
And he starred in "Behind Enemy Lines".
His death was hard for his fans to face.
He's gone and he can never be replaced. 
He was a talented actor who was clever.
It's sad to know that he's gone forever.
Respect was something that he earned.
Gene perished and he will never return.
It's heartbreaking to see such a man die.
He was a terrific person and that's no lie.

Sad, sad, sad,

Hubby told me the HORRIFIC details last night and it's incredible that such a flame could extinguish like that. Such a man--but as fallible as the rest of us. The manner of his death reads like a horror novel and will stay with me for a long time. The dog must have been howling in its cage for days, why didn't anybody intervene? Somebody must have heard something. We're humans, we mind our own business.

A lovely tribute.
