Here inside is very small,
I look outside, watching all –
buzzing, busy family –
laughter, quarrelling I see,
comings, goings, passing by:
do they see me stare and spy?
Are they happier than I?
as around this bowl I swim,
always looking out, not in?

Other story now, everyone walking past in the street turn their necks. Looking in and through the windows hopeful of curiosity. We are inside a fishtank yes. Looking out, not in.

Don't they look so tranquil and peaceful?

Those who just pass by us, or whom we just pass by,. can often look tranquil and peaceful, and we to them,  but we mostly don't know the problems each other are struggling with, or whether they know true peace in the midst or it all. Rhiannon
