Rash (?) Judgements

Be careful who you mock!
It may come as a shock,
your sneering humour rock
to know their real integrity,
their kindness in their own community,
though now completely
with their proposals
you most strongly disagree.
Be careful who you judge,
and feel they many issues fudge
you’d like to see their dogma budge –
would you with sacrifice do their hard work?
or in such role much labour shirk?
Be careful – who do you accuse
of twisted motive?
You may yourself be as yet blind
to how the policies you have in mind
would touch the poor who could well find
their jobs dry up, think you unkind
in things you think must certainly be done.
The outcomes may more complex prove –
will you be always truthful,
work with compassion, love?
Such wisdom needed,
and integrity,
such labour
and sincerity.
And none are perfect –
even we! but for those bravely honest,
thoughtful, thankful be!
and here we may speak out our cares,
but listen to those telling theirs,
and arguments and reasons they may have to share
take time to properly discuss
debate respectfully, and hear!

A beuatiful poem Rhiannon
A beuatiful poem Rhiannon, and with so much meaning and wisdom! I think of the first verse of the Book of Psalms,
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
See you! Have lovely day, it is BMW here- baby make weather.
