The Servant King (Maundy Thursday)

A gentle King
who on a donkey rode,
and then humility he also showed
by washing feet
– but know this humble King
has all the mighty power
which can cleanse also hearts within;
and in humility and anguish served
to rescue those who no such grace deserved.
The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45
Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel round his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet…John 13: 3-5

There is certainly something to learn
There is certainly something to learn here Rhiannon. Such humility is definitive of Christianity I don't know of another religion that teaches it as radical as as this.
