Balancing Act

Balancing Act

After a backwards

surprise tumble

across a fallen

bough I planned

to sit upon

I contemplated

the possibility of

a harsh arrest.

And It did indeed

come about

with a forceful

thump. Thankfully

only my hand felt a

sharp stab of

piercing branch.

As I lay fully stretched,

clouds above peeked

through layers

of Autumn leaves.

These trembling aspen

reflecting God’s

gift to me, and all within

the comfort of His

cherished Blessings.
