Grateful eyes spy
Morning's glory
As shadows release
Their overnight cocoon
Mist now dismissed by
Sun’s early yolk
Squirrels scurry anxious
For breakfast
As crows caw-call
From their lofty spruces
Pastel clouds are
Mushroom shapes
Highlighting water far below
A loon’s calling equals
Fulfillment.

Hello Richard,
I think you've excelled yourself with this poem,
it moved me so much, I almost had tears in my
eyes.
Simply beautiful and thankyou for sharing.
Jenny.
