For My Wife

I see lights
as stars
shining over the
street
buildings
as highways of
activity.
You’re missing
from my
sight but not
in
my heart
you’re still the
star
in my sky.
Note: This poem was for
my wife, when I spent a month
with mom in Hamilton
Ontario, 2000 miles away
in Nova Scotia.

Simple and very sincere
Simple and very sincere a beautiful poem Richard! Such a gesture means a lot to a woman. They appreciate it always it makes her feel special. I agree with you about the donations my brother also does his due each year religiously. Doesn't have to be much it all ads up.
I hope you and Esther are well, and my best wishes! Tom
