My heart captures stories from TV’s medium of anguish: Taliban turmoil in Afghanistan, rebels in Somalia, terrorists on Nigerian soil, further havoc within cities of Iraq, notwithstanding US troops departed, tormented people not diminished, their lives a testament of struggle within a frontier of adverse circumstances. We share anguish with those tortured faces -- victims of Mexican drug wars, failures in food shortages, escaping from Syrian retribution. Tired souls possess passion for survival, reclaiming the land from ancestral ways, and I claim bondage to their spirit.
