Bring Me Away from Here

Hatred and jelousy started it all.
Hurt and pain brought our fall.

No one is perfect we've all made mistakes.
This constant beating causes my body to ache.

So many lies inflicted damage upon my cold heart.
The power we are addicted to tore us apart.

The words play over and over in my mind.
I aimlessly search for sanctuary but my eyes are blind.

The world I'm in begins to feel like hell.
Waves of fire surround my barred cell.

I'm locked inside with no way out.
I question my excistance with so much doubt.

The endless waiting and lonliness starts to devour all of me.
Dear God, I beg please answer my plea.

The color begins to fade from my eyes.
Then all around me the world slowly dies.

My mind explodes and my life flashes before my face.
Then my eyelids shut and I feel a warm embrace

I never saw them again as I drifted into an unending sleep.
The area around me grew silent and began to weep.

All the tears from sadness and the memories of sorrow are lost in the past.
I look up to the vast blue sky and breath my last.

I was taken from the darkness and from the shadow of sin.
I was brought to the light and filled with tremendous peace within.
