Glencoe.
Climbers call from coloured ropes
silent spider descends
on silken thread
Antlers clash on mating duel
waiting doe slakes thirst
in dragonflies pool
Blunted are the sharp peaks
by Winter snow
Dartmoor.
A horsebox slows
traffic to a trot
Lie in Haytor's shadow
with cider and cheese
Letter boxing
no emails found
Beach.
Seaweed sushi
washed by
morning tide
Cream teas cream suits
double cream on lapels
A deckchair
defies assembly

Glencoe, Dartmoor, beach -
Glencoe, Dartmoor, beach - three of my favourite places so this was always going to be a hit with me. One to read and savour again and again. Cream teas and seaweed sushi in particular....not too keen on cider but I'd give it a go with cheese.

A nice set of images these.
A nice set of images these. I particularly like the deckchair one - those damned things always bite my fingers.
