The interlude of creativity

I am looking for the hole in the page; the portal in which I can fall into and see another world, a world where the possibilities are endless. A world where we can dive right in and swim with the Sirens in the bluest oceans, just off of the coast of Earth’s second moon. Maybe we could run through the woods together on the hunt of our next prey; looking at the world through the eyes of a sadistic killer. Perhaps we can join the ranks of The Gunslingers, and battle our way across a post-apocalyptic waste land; chasing the evil sorcerer who has kidnapped the woman of our dreams.  

This portal opens up without any warning, and the worlds inside of my thoughts come spilling out onto the page. Getting lost in the moment while writing is an incredibly gratifying feeling because you get so wrapped up in the emotion of the characters and the story itself. I will always be searching for the hole in the page to fall into and let my thoughts out, draped and displayed for your enjoyment. I am very glad to have found a community of writers such as this, and I can't wait to share my stories with you; as well as read all of yours.
