Dance of the Flowers

Somewhere in a secret garden, walled off from the madding world
a flock of angels make heavenly sounds, sunny guitar and rainy harp
that set the lilacs to passionate swaying
the dew-kissed roses to appreciative trembling,
the snapdragons to waltzing like beer garden flower children;
the garden fills with an angelic cacophony to please King David...
the Xenias prance dusting the grass lightly with fairy dust;
the ferns twitch like techno clubgoers,
and the richly clothed lilies bob along languidly
to this magical dance of the flowers
