all over again...

would you
read me a story
with a happy ending,

sing me a lullaby,
rock me to sleep -

kiss me goodnight,
say you'll see me
in the morning,

tell me you love me -
and mean it?

Thank you Jenny, Jacques, fatboy and ScoZen for taking the trouble to comment on my `practice piece'...honestly can't remember how I ever managed to write anything of worth but I'll keep trying and perhaps it will come back to me soon. Sorry not to comment on anyone's work lately - not like me - have been avoiding Abc recentlyas Life has got in the way of art (sorry to be so cryptic). X

Wow, so pleased you liked it and let me know, sue, as I had a genuine block for about 6 weeks at least and this was a way of easing back into writing. Many thanks for reading my stuff!
