In Between Darkness And Light

this feeling
which I am
experiencing
is a vile
and hostile force

it involves no one else
its creation is a mystery

my heart is numb
my mind frozen
I am emotionless

and yet I do feel something

or maybe
I've discovered
a new emotion
which belongs
in between
a place which we call alive
and the enemy of light
the dark side

which we conveniently hide
