There is something inside
Therefore I hide
My eyes are wide in fear
As I await to see
Something I’ve never seen before
My fingers tremble in terror
As I reach to touch
Something I’ve never felt before
And then..
My heart misses a beat
I freeze and I sweat
I see what is inside
It is real, it is alive
A wild beastly surprise
That thing that hides inside
Is all that I feared it would be
It wears a disguise
Behind the disguise, is the real me
