Liar on the Cement

Alright.
I lied.
Here is yet another poem
for you to glance at
and think of me as
desperate.
I sat awake in the dark,
writing your lament.
Meanwhile
I'm falling apart,
my shattered remnants still on
the cold
cement.
Broken arrows
lead to broken hearts,
which lead to other broken things.
So thanks for tearing down
my castle in the sky.
Black remains.
You can go do a
four letter action
all alone
in the shelter of your room.
Go hide your big mistake
and leave me in my tomb
alone.
These black figures
on this ghostly paper
will tear the room apart
to find the one thing I need to know.
I'm beginning to hate all the things
I once loved about you
and I don't care if you feel the same.
I will go out,
get those thoughts from my head vanishing
with my dripping sweat.
The time we spent together
now turns into
seconds
of regret.
Your memories are still haunting my creativity.
I hope mine do the same.
