Melodic Sound Waves

I want to escape into music. The melodic sound waves slowly picking me off the ground and levitating me through the rest of time. Like being at a concert, and when it's over you linger dragging out time, regretting going back to your house and leaving the sacred place behind, relapsing it only in your memories.
I want to be on stage forever. I long for the bright lights, a crowd screaming words along with you. Microphones booming voices and sounds that bounce off the back walls back to your ringing ears.
Drums keeping a steady beat, foot tapping, it slowly creeps into your mind and leaves your body pulsating. Vibrations creep up from the ground and into your feet, ankles, calves, knees, further and further until you can't handle it.
Vocals. Sweet tunes that are carried out with even sweeter lyrics. Up and down, up and down, an orgy for the ears. Voices crooning you into a lullaby, or screaming until you feel better about life, anger dissolving into the air along with them.
Music is what gets me through each day, making my problems and troubles disappear and leaving me satisfied, yet longing for more.
