You know when your in love
it's not a look...or a touch,
but that tender kiss
that makes you go weak...
so you forget everything
but that kiss,
flesh trembles...body weak,
anticipation of that kiss...
a brush of his lips
across my cheek
as tenderly our lips meet,
passion builds at the
gentleness of his touch,
a fire building inside
rising like a Phoenix
from the ashes...
to that final explosion
as many fireworks
are released...
at the tenderness
of his kiss.

I thought that you structured the poem very well so as to best convey the idea of passion building inside.
I really like the way that the last part of the poem climbs towards a climax.
passion builds at the
gentleness of his touch,
a fire building inside
rising like a Phoenix
from the ashes...
to that final explosion
as many fireworks
are released...
at the tenderness
of his kiss.

Great one for the (IP)
stanza lines:
Rising like a phoenix
from the ashes...
to that explosion
as many fireworks
are released...
at the tenderness
of his kiss.
Strange I was only singing
indoors the "It's in his kiss".
Was it "The Supremes."

Beautiful, passionate and gently alluring, this one, Jenny! One of my favourites of yours for sure - this poem is a kiss to the senses all in itself, I loved it :)
