Teach me how to
grow organic inside
as metabolism is
eager to hurry-scurry...
spine stands tall,
blood life coursing
each pulse nurtures
this wanting soul,
no stagnant roots to this mind
but a trail of creeping ramblers
that exists now among so many,
determined I will hunt each one;
those details having meaning...
igniting – stimulating creativity,
seeking to bask in Poetry as I'm
seduced by the written word.

Hi Jenny
Hi Jenny
I really like this. You make your poetry writing into a piece of horticulture.

Loved this, Jenny...and if it
Loved this, Jenny...and if it is a phase, long may it continue. 'Life is about writing what comes from your soul'...and it so very surely is.

seduced by the written words
seduced by the written words ain't such a bad thing, or if I'll be so bold, so I'm told.

Hi, Jenny. I've been away.
Hi, Jenny. I've been away. You seem here to be comparing the tendency of our age to 'rush think' and form opinions and express them without careful thought (hurry-scurry indeed!) to trying to rush cultivation and food preparation. I guess poetry ought to encourage reading thoughtfully, written words can sound good to the ear, but if the meaning is wise, too … then we're not seduced by woffle, but drawn to think about what really edifies, well-fed indeed! Hi Jenny,
Hi Jenny,
This is original writing and flows nicely. I like the idea behind the thought too, it works very well !
Best Wishes,

"seduced by the written word.
"seduced by the written word." Describes all of us here, really! This is beautiful, really conveys that strange union of ecstasy and wanting that marks the birth of good writing.
