RETICENT BULLY.
sneak
Slabs of grey sky -
bare down on the town.
Disguised indiscretions -
derived of a frown.
Awkward and stunning,
she craves nothing more.
Extinguishing lights -
and bolting the door.
Building cocoons.
The warmth of her bed.
Secluded intention -
declared in her head.
Serenely denying -
all reason to live.
A moment of madness -
that we must live with.
Her memories taunt -
from a frame on the wall.
Secretive eyes -
recording the fall.
A broken reminder -
of confidence lost.
Our bullish dictates,
would be to her cost.
And time presumes nothing -
but certain decay.
I lock every door.
And here I will stay.
Surrendering life -
to my victim of crime.
Her name ever linked,
so cruelly with mine.
