So blue it could blend in with the midnight sky
Still work needs to be done, unseen to the keen eye
Old stories being told and told again
In the long run it made me a better person than I could have been
The scalding heat made way for blow up pools and ice cream
I went through the hours as if seeing through tunnels in a dream
Misplaced music and scrutinizing eyes were firsts;as was everything
But in the end of day
Ill have my blue volkswagon waiting for me

I loved this poem a lot, you really set a scene here. I like the different references to blue, it all comes together so well.
