Dreams

This feeling I get whenever I hear the sound of the first key immediately hits me in the core and emotion swells from within me.
This tune I hear is so familiar and in turn I feel tied to you.
But you are not real, no matter what ties I feel and yet this hole in my mind and body aches for you to be near.
Whenever I close my eyes it seems like everything is true but no matter how many times I read those words, it dawns on me that it is only my imagination.
And as those last somber keys hit their note, I resign myself to only dreams of you...
