Should the rain stop

In this veil
of falling rain
Tears land unheard
behind me

I leave and empty wake,
that soon will be filled

a rush of motion
the rain falls on
leaving my path
unbeaten as before

i move on unnoticed
looking back
i can only see
grey shapes

so hidden are they in rain
Friends of old,
can no longer find me
So hidden am i
In tears

Should the rain stop falling,
where then shall i hide
my wake will remain,
visible again

i shall see my friends
once more
they will find me
and i shall need no Tears

In this Veiling fall of rain
I walk
My tears will soon be seen
and i shall need not weep
