Washed By Greys

Sight without perception,
views withough depth,
shades without colour,
Seeing nothing in the haze.

Tears settling on cheeks,
ready to course down the face,
eyes half closing,
blocking out the image

only to have it appear,
inside my eyes,
still as grey as before,
but somehow more vivid.

eyes no longer blurring,
to keep from seeing,
no filters,
just the purity of the scene.
