Lana’s Lullaby
She was draped on him, A Ballerina on broken legs,
He had the bird but couldn’t stand to see it fly,
Her Hazel eyes two rocks that sparkled within the darkness all around her as she drowned silently wrapped in the ravens feathers of the night,
Her eyes like mirrors shattered into pieces showing him the kaleidoscope of who he had become,
It wasn’t always like this,
Living in the nightmare tasting the bitter blood of the liar the liar of youth,
The protector the protected,
Breathing in webs the destructed webs of desire as the spider bites,
His Lies,
Her Cries,
Her Glass slipper was smashed on the floor and she prayed for sleep,
The Moon cried as the day ceased and in entered the beast.
