A Honda Civic and a whole lot of Mocha

The stool makes it feel like I'm sitting on a boxing glove being worn by a very sturdy cage match fighter. That fighter is just ramming home the summary of the college experience into my ass, because god knows its already packed into my head.
I hate these regurgitated nook cafes. Mainly because for everyone of them there is one of me. I'm sipping some coffee bean concoction with froth, foam, and lather that I can't explain, sitting alone which I can explain.
I'm either gentle or a coward, but I'm not sure I want to go as far as to pick one. A coward is unattractive, but every coward has his day of bravery. If you're a straight up gentle giant you're just screwed. It's in your nature to be laid back! Who can argue with nature?
This corporate cafe is somewhere around a significant masterpiece of architecture. A sleek modern beauty that grabs your eye. The girls are like that here too. Not even they can argue with nature. At the end of the night it's about jumping up and down on someone until you find release.
Romance is dead. My one lingering hope for it died when I realized that girl from sociology didn't give a damn what I thought about the rag we call the constitution. That I would never have an interest in a free t-shirt from a credit card company because they just want to brand my ass with a hot iron that says consumer.
Not to say I didn't enjoy the consequence. The girl rode me like sea biscuit. I hit a sexually heightened peek. Maybe that's what bothers me; it was just sex to her. I haven't heard a peep from her in two weeks. Being a guy I'm supposed to love that about college. You can have a bite of cake and then run off to a whole new bakery with icing still on your face.
That's just not me. I'm not a run by fucker. If you simplify the entire one night stand experience you'll get something like this:
Asshole: "Hi, I'm Brad. You liking that party so far?"
Bimbo: "Yeah, it's nice. My favorite color is purple!"
Asshole: "Sure sure, have a drink."
Bimbo: "You're hot."
Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck
Pound Pound Pound Pound Pound
Ding! Cook until golden brown.
Bimbo: "Bye Brad!"
Asshole: "Bye.....what's you name again?"
Alright, maybe that's a little generalized and a bit bitter. The main thing is that even if it didn't go down that exact way, one thing remains the same. There's no name, no face, no substance! You're not making love with person, a being, a conscious entity. You're having sex with a body. Necrophiliacs do the same thing come to think of it. I don't understand this place, not one bit. I miss the warmth, that centuries old feeling. I shake my head and look up to see a one woman audience in the form of an employee.
"Did you want some more? I hate to interrupt but you were sipping out of an empty cup." I look down into the empty white enamel and eye the brownish stains.
"I guess I will." I respond sluggishly. She tugs the cup from my hands gently and heads over to do some corporate coffee magic.
"You looked frustrated just sitting there." She says loudly over the caffeine machine. I roll my eyes. Internally I wonder what her curiosity is leading to. She walks back over and I look closely.
The dim cafe lights don't do her justice. That black skirt and white shirt show a nice body in my standards. She's not like the petite little twigs you see around, but still fit none the less. Her auburn hair hides one eye, which I've always found irresistibly sexy. She has squared off glasses to match, giving that hot librarian look its dues.
She beams slight arc of a smile at me and says,
"What's on your mind stranger?" I'm taken aback. I draw a blank. Everything I thought and felt goes out the front door and into a Honda civic while I sit on the front steps wondering what the hell happened. All I can do is look at her. She lets her head down a little and giggles.
I would love to laugh with her but my cognitive expressions are being held hostage in the trunk of a Japanese made automobile a couple blocks away.
"I'll tell you what. You take my number and we can have a chat some other time, when you're mind is one place. Okay?" I hear the rice burner just a couple blocks off, but it's not close enough. Somehow I manage a nod. She walks to a back room marked employees only and smiles as she leaves. I run off the steps and pop the trunk. My first thought; This girl makes me in awe of nature.
