Humpty Dumpty Love...Poem(Friends)

You set me down, you let me free.
You threw me out of where I wanna be.
I'm still shellshocked by your decision.

Now as I stand here on the shores of Hell,
Picking up the pieces of my shell.
I'm still amazed you turned me down.

You say you need me still,
You say you trust me still,
You say you love me still,
I know how you feel.

But as I sit here writing,
I know you've let me down.
I need some time to think things over.

But in a little while.
I'll see what you see,
I'll feel what you feel.
The maybe we can talk.

But til then I'll be bitter.
I wont be in touch.
I need some time.
I need a little time.

And when I know I'm ready,
I'm sure to let you know.
And when I am I know we'll still be
Friends.
